When is it considered?

It may be considered in some cases of overactive bladder or bladder dysfunction when other approaches have not provided enough benefit. Suitability depends on the findings and previous treatment.

The procedure and follow-up

The injections are given into the bladder wall. The duration of the effect and response can vary. The need for repeat treatment, possible side effects and follow-up should be discussed with your doctor beforehand.
